MLav led from lights to red flag at the Lincolnshire circuit after getting a quick getaway from pole position.

Third was the Relentless Suzuki by TAS machine of Josh Brookes, who's result was marred by an incident involving Michael Rutter.

TitleFightersblog.jpgRYUICHI Kiyonari and Tommy Hill will this weekend lead the title fighters into Croft Circuit as the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship enters The Showdown.

The pair are the joint leaders in the series now, but are only one point clear of Josh Brookes, who will be looking to dominate this weekend as the series roars into Burning Rubber's local track for Round 10.

The action in the country's premier series is now entering the "Showdown" phase, with six riders - "the title-fighters" - all in close contention going into the final seven races and three rounds.

HM Plant Honda dominated the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship round at its home track, Cadwell Park.

Riders Ryuichi Kiyonari and Josh Brookes shared the spoils as they took a win each in the baking Lincolnshire sunshine.

And for Kiyonari it was the final the piece to his UK circuit domination, as he finally won at the only track where victory has always eluded him - even in the two seasons where he took the championship.

Easton has Hill to climb

Hill-Easton_Thruxton_-_BLOG.jpgTOMMY Hill was back on dominant form as he took Pole for Bank Holiday Monday's MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park.

The Worx Crescent Suzuki pilot pipped Hawick's Stuart Easton to the top spot, after a Swan Roll for Pole which became a battle royale between the closely matched pair.

Although it was the Swan Honda of Easton who had been holding the top spot as the chequered flag fell on the third and final qualifying session, Hill's hotlap of 1.35.214mins was enough to steal the place.
